Declaration of Accessibility
This declaration of accessibility applies to the parson-europe.com website. parson AG is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Equal Opportunities of Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetzes des Bundes BGG) and the BITV 2.0 (Barrierefreien-Informationstechnik-Verordnung).
Status of compliance
The parson AG website has been tested and optimised for accessibility in accordance with EN 301 549 and the WCAG, on which BITV 2.0 is based. Compliance with these requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out by April 30, 2025. Based on this review, the website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements due to the following incompatibilities:
- The form for subscribing to the parson newsletter at https://www.parson-europe.com/en/newsletter is not accessible. This form is provided by the newsletter provider Sendinblue GmbH and cannot be customised; parson AG intends to change its newsletter provider in September 2025, at which time the newsletter form will also be updated.
- The website content was checked retroactively to the publication date of April 30, 2024. Individual posts from earlier dates, especially older blog or news articles, may have accessibility issues.
- From June 26, 2025, alt tags for media (images, videos) will be provided in two languages, and alt tags for important media content will be retroactively updated in two languages. However, media published before June 26, 2025 will often only have a German or English alt tag.
- PDFs published before June 26, 2025 may contain errors with regard to digital accessibility.
- parson AG embeds videos on its website that are published on the YouTube platform. These videos use automatic subtitling, which only partially complies with accessibility requirements.
parson AG strives to publish new website content in accordance with accessibility requirements. If you notice any further errors or problems, or if you have any feedback on the subject of digital accessibility, please contact our team.
