Recommend+To? A Clear Recommendation

In technical documentation, we avoid recommendations. They rarely help the reader: The producer recommends ultra-light power cells. Why? What happens if I use others?

German speakers sometimes have problems with the sentence patterns for the verbs recommend, suggest, and advise. We explain why and offer some help. Switch to German to read the article.
