From CCMS selection to an AI-ready content strategy
How should technical information be structured and managed so that AI applications can use it reliably? This is one of the questions Buildwise, Belgium’s research and innovation center for the construction industry, is addressing.
The project started with the search for a suitable component content management system (CCMS). But it soon became clear that making a sound system decision first requires a clear understanding of the requirements for content, processes, and the future system landscape.
Together, Buildwise and parson analyzed the existing information landscape and developed requirements and user stories as a foundation for further system development and future technology decisions.
For me, the greatest value of the project is that we can now describe our requirements much more clearly. This allows us to evaluate new technologies more effectively and plan our next steps in a much more targeted way.
The project shows that organizations looking to make their information usable for AI should not start by selecting a technology, but by developing a clear understanding of their own requirements.
